Mixing into homogeneous products

Why do products need to be mixed? There are different reasons for the need for mixing.

Products are often stored for long periods of time. This can lead to different moisture contents or grain distributions within the storage container.
In many cases, food processors receive different batches of the same product. These batches can vary in size, color, moisture content, country of origin, etc. It is not uncommon for different products to be mixed into a combined product. The common goal of mixing dry and free-flowing foods is to produce a homogeneously mixed product in the shortest possible time without damaging the product.
Another important aspect is the ease of cleaning the mixer. For over 70 years, KREYENBORG has been offering mixers in different sizes (0.5 m³ to 20 m³) and different designs. All these mixers work as batch mixers, but can also be combined to form quasi-continuous mixers. The various mixing units can be mechanically applied to the product, thus avoiding a loss of quality. KREYENBORG offers the mixers with controls and optionally in combination with conveyors, big-bag stations, weighings, etc. (Master Batch Mixer (MBM)/ Universal Quick Mixer (USM))
