For manufacturers who want to give their products that little bit extra, the KREYENBORG infrared technology (FoodSafety-IRD) is also suitable for coating applications!
Many products can be coated with different additives during processing to improve the taste experience. Nuts, for example, with salt or oil, tea with flavorings, dried vegetables with spices or colorings, seeds with spices or onions coated with oil. The homogeneity of the coated product, easy cleaning of the system, a continuous and easily reproducible process, etc. play a central role here.
This is how advantageous coating with our infrared technology can be: During the sterilization, pasteurization or roasting process, it is possible to spray the product with salt, dyes, flavor extracts or oil at the same time, or optionally in a separate coating rotary tube placed behind it.
After coating, the product is cooled and dried in our continuously operating FoodSafety Rotary Cooler (FS-RC), so that the coated product can be stored immediately.
