Shut-off valve

Shut-off position:
An interruption of the melt flow is caused.

Production position:
The melt flow is guided to the down stream components.

Area of application:
Reactor valve

diverter valve resp. discharge valve

Start-up position:
The material is diverted and discharged out of the process. 

Production position:
The melt flow is guided to the down stream components.

Area of application:
Safety valve for reaction, compounding and extrusion processes.

3/3- way valve (free of dead space)

Depending on position, the piston valve releases different in- and outputs for the melt.

The example shows that the melt optionally may be guided into one of the two or into both outlet channels. Switching between the two output channels is done without pressure variation and without trapped air.

Area of application:
Switching between two production processes (e.g. switching of two large area filters).

6/3-Way valve

Suitable for co-extrusion processes, in order to realize different material blends.

3/2-way valve | 3/2-way switching valve (90° diverting)

Depending on position of the valve piston, another flow direction for the melt flow is caused.

Area of application:
Switching between two production processes (e.g. for underwater pelletizing and film extrusion).

Further variants (e.g. with other output angles of further positions) are deliverable.
