Piston Screen Changers
Over decades, the piston-principle has been well-proven. It comes to use with almost every constructed screen changer.
Within a massive stainless steel housing - according to the function - one, or two slideable screen bearing pistons are placed cross to the melt flow.
Face to face sealing makes wearing seals obsolete, an enormous advantage for the customer as there are no leaks and maintenance is reduced to a minimum.
Piston screen changers stand out due to their robustness and easy maintainance.

With a slide plate screen changer the screens are arranged on a swivel or slide plate cross to the melt flow.
